29 Jan 2016

A First class Geography graduate will be exhibiting his research at the fourth annual Posters in Parliament exhibition next week.
Damon Waterworth, who graduated with a BSc Geography degree in November 2015, will be presenting his research surrounding the impact of land use on Blackpool’s coastal urban heat island (see above poster).
Posters in Parliament is part of the British Conference of Undergraduate Research, an open coalition of universities dedicated to encouraging a national culture of undergraduate research. Each year, the exhibition awards two prizes for the best posters.
Damon was nominated by the Department of Geography and International Development and will be representing the University, at the exhibition on February 2.
From us all in the Alumni and Development office and everyone here at the University of Chester, we wish Damon the very best of luck!
