A company established by a former CSU President and University of Chester Alumni Association Committee member, celebrated reaching a key milestone recently.

Footsqueek, a mobile application development company founded by Computer Science graduate Steve Westgarth in 2011, celebrated its third birthday; a milestone that a large number of start-up businesses fail to reach.

A celebratory event was held at Chester Students' Union's CH1 Bar which was attended by clients and supporters of the company including KPMG; University of Chester; Kirsty Craig Associates; Chester Students’ Union; Lego Education and many more.

Following the third birthday celebration Footsqueek Managing Director, Steve Westgarth said:

“ These three years have flown by and on behalf of all the team and myself I would like to express our gratitude to the huge numbers of people who have helped us to get to where we are now.  The business and team are growing and developing hand in hand, in a sustainable manner, to ensure that we are geared up to maintain this momentum for the next three to five years and hopefully many more beyond.  Our fourth year of operation is without doubt going to be our busiest yet but the team are already working very hard to ensure that we achieve and likely surpass all of our targets. “
