University of Chester Social Media Code of Conduct
We have written these instructions to ensure that our followers are able to interact with the Alumni Association in a friendly and fair environment. Anyone who wishes to interact with any of our social media outlets (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) must adhere to the following code of conduct.
• You will not upload viruses or other malicious code
• You will not use our social media outlets to SPAM other users. (Please see relevant ‘Terms’ sections on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, which describes what is classed as SPAM for each platform).
• You will not bully, intimidate, or harass any user
• You will not post content that: is hate speech, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence
• You will not use our social media outlets to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory
• You will not post content or take any action on our social media outlets that infringes or violates someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law. We can remove any content or information you post on our sites if we believe that it violates these instructions.
• The opinions and stories shared on our social media outlets are not necessarily the opinions of the Alumni Association.
• We do not endorse, support, represent or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any Content or communications posted via our users or endorses any opinions expressed via our users.
We reserve the right to change and/or add to these codes of conduct instructions without making users aware prior to the change
